My GP and hair stylist recommended Dr. Ting. I had decided that I wanted an eye lift, and went in for a consultation. She asked my reasoning and recommended CO2 laser instead which was a less costly procedure and achieved results far beyond my expectations. She is professional; she gave me the information that I needed to make an informed decision. She cares about her patients and their goals and her field of expertise. Seven months after my procedure, I look refreshed, not like a plastic surgeon's patient...I can't think of better praise than that! FYI, when I do get around to having an eye lift, I want Dr. Ting to perform the procedure.

I researched for a year before I decided to go to Dr. Ting for my "mommy makeover". After having three kids, I had a breast augmentation and a tummy tuck. Dr. Ting is a great surgeon and I am extremely pleased with the results five months later. I feel more confident and beautiful and couldn't be happier. Furthermore, the staff at Dr. Ting's office is the best....professional, friendly, compassionate and kind. They made the whole nervous process stress-free and I felt that I was in good hands every step of the way.
I highly recommend Dr. Ting and her staff to anyone.

I met Dr. Ting through the recommendation of a friend who had learned about her from her radiologist.;
I was 67 when Dr. Ting performed a full face C02 laser resurfacing, Feb. 2012. After decades of not protecting my fair skin (I am blonde), I had the mouth area of that of a woman ten to fifteen years older.
So, during our first consultation, I had asked for just a laser treatment for my lower face. She convinced me I needed the whole face done She was right: even though my upper face, forehead, was nowhere near as wrinkled as under my nose; the laser treatment tightened my lids, my "crows feet", under my eyes. And, in so doing, made my eyes look larger!! In comparing the "before" and "after" pictures the improvement is remarkable even two years later.
Because I now had this lovely new facial skin, my sagging neck skin was more noticeable. I asked Dr. Ting if she would perform a lower face/neck lift in Aug. 2012 which would be healed by Oct for my 50th year Reunion. She said, "No, It would be too soon to work with that new skin." I respected her judgment and the fact that she was willing to possibly lose a patient rather than perform a procedure she felt was not completely safe.
In Feb. 2013, Dr. Ting did the Lower Face/Neck lift. I am completely satisfied with the results of both procedures: Just 3 weeks ago the ticket agent for the Shattuck Theater in Berkeley charged me full price for my movie ticket. Had to tell him, I was 69 years old and needed the "Senior" ticket. Made my night.
A few more observations:
I did some comparative "shopping" before I chose Dr. Ting. I found her fees to be in the average range of cosmetic surgeons practicing in the Walnut Creek/San Ramon Valley area
LeeAnne, her office manager and Ashleigh, her receptionist are professional, friendly women.
The nurses/staff who work in the Aspen Surgery Center where Dr Ting performs her surgery, have nothing but praise for Vivian Ting's work ethic and ability. They do have one minor issue however; they have mentioned that Dr. Ting is a "perfectionist." They say that she will not complete her surgery until she is absolutely sure she has met her patient's criteria and hers. Consequently, her surgery times sometime run over the expected time frame. (She does not charge extra) I was pretty happy to hear this while I was waiting in the Pre Op room for my laser procedure!
And finally about Dr. Vivian Ting; I found her to be comforting, and extremely knowledgeable, ethical, honest, and capable. I liked the fact that she had trained at SF UC Medical Center to be first and foremost a Reconstructive Surgeon. She has a stellar reputation among practicing physicians.
Lastly, her office had Hershey Kisses waiting there for me.
